DESCRIPTION:10 years after the first edition to be held on the South American continent\, the 2019 Dakar will be run on a new loop rally-route\, with the start and finish in Lima. The Peruvian sand will play a decisive role in the quest for top honours. \nThe Dakar Rally (or simply “The Dakar”; formerly known as the “Paris–Dakar Rally”) is an annual rally raid organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation. Most events since the inception in 1978 were from Paris\, France\, to Dakar\, Senegal\, but due to security threats in Mauritania\, which led to the cancellation of the 2008 rally\, races since 2009 have been held in South America. The race is open to amateur and professional entries\, amateurs typically making up about eighty percent of the participants. \nThe race is an off-road endurance event. The terrain that the competitors traverse is much tougher than that used in conventional rallying\, and the vehicles used are true off-road vehicles rather than modified on-road vehicles. Most of the competitive special sections are off-road\, crossing dunes\, mud\, camel grass\, rocks\, and erg among others. The distances of each stage covered vary from short distances up to 800–900 kilometres (500–560 mi) per day.

After 10 years at the head of the event\, the company NPO sells the Rally of Morocco to the company ODC led by David Castera.

DESCRIPTION:Alaska Wild is part of the U.S.A. Backroads Safari series and consists of personalized adventure rider training and scenic touring on some of the best paved and off-pavement roads Alaska has to offer. This event is limited to 12 riders. The route has many options and can be adjusted to meet the personal level of challenge desired. The rider training aspect of Alaska Wild is brought to you by Dragoo Adventure Rider Training and is personalized to the level of each rider. Bill Dragoo is a BMW Certified Instructor (all brands of motorcycles welcome).

SUMMARY:Overland Adventure Tour
DESCRIPTION:This year the OAR becomes the OAT\, the Overland Adventure Tour. We will do a three-day adventure bike tour from the GTA to Tobermory\,  stay overnight in Tobermory then cross on the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry to Manitoulin Island\, stay in Little Current then ride to Parry Sound to arrive Sunday evening. Many of the same great features of the OAR will be included\, we will have special guests\, prizes\, a challenge and ride some incredible roads and trails. We feel this will be a welcome change to the OAR\, as it needed a facelift to maintain and grow interest in the event. The route will include the Beaver Valley\, visit Manitoulin Island to ride some great trails and gravel roads. As usual\, there will be pavement-only options.
